CareRelay Privacy Notice

Limited release — last updated June 2026

CareRelay is designed to keep proof logs private by default. Users may enter contact information, facility/care-site details, work or care notes, and optional concern records. CareRelay does not sell worker, driver, resident, or family caregiver data. Public reports, legal packets, external escalation, or facility-connected workflows require additional review, consent, and safeguards.

Information Users May Choose to Provide

CareRelay users may optionally provide: contact details (optional first name or alias, email), facility or care-site names, work or shift notes, care concern records, visit notes, walk group details, and proof log entries. User-authored notes may contain health-adjacent or care-related observations (such as medication delays or care concerns) — CareRelay does not extract, interpret, or share this content. Authenticated Private Proof Log entries are stored in the user's CareRelay account. Other limited-release notes may remain device-only where the feature explicitly says so.

How Information Is Used

Information entered in CareRelay is used only to power the features the user is actively using — walk group coordination, private proof timelines, facility search, family care tracking, coverage support, and authorized navigation. When a user activates shift/trip navigation and grants location permission, CareRelay may use live device location to calculate and follow the route. SafeShift does not provide live GPS tracking or public location broadcasting. CareRelay does not sell, broker, or transfer worker, driver, resident, or family caregiver data to third parties.

What CareRelay Does Not Do in This Release

  • Does not contact police, emergency services, hospital security, or real dispatch.
  • Does not automatically file complaints with HR, state agencies, labor boards, government agencies, or licensing boards.
  • Does not share proof logs, care notes, or family records with facilities or employers without explicit user action.
  • Does not provide medical advice, legal advice, or employment advice.
  • Does not claim legal-grade or blockchain proof.
  • SafeShift does not provide live GPS tracking or public location broadcasting. Authorized shift/trip navigation can use device location when the user opens navigation and grants location permission.
  • Does not make facility-submitted records public without consent and safeguards.

No Emergency Dispatch

CareRelay is not an emergency response service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. CareRelay walk groups and proof logs are coordination and documentation tools only.

No Automatic Reporting

No government, HR, facility, police, or legal report is automatically generated or sent from CareRelay. Any future escalation pathways will require explicit user review, consent, and additional safeguards.

User Control and Deletion

Users may request deletion of their CareRelay account and associated data at any time. Private Proof Log entries can be deleted individually inside the signed-in feature. For account data deletion requests, use the Support page or contact us at the address below.

Request Account or Data Deletion

CareRelay will process deletion requests for accounts and data where applicable.
